Preparation for prayer: The LORD delights in blessing you. It is his good pleasure that you are blessed in every area of your life. Blessings are not limited to material things. Jesus Christ is infinitely more interested in your eternal well-being. Jesus has a special interest in your relationships, marriage, ministry and a host of other things. What matters to you--matters to Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for loving me and being interested in me. I will cast my cares on you and trust them in your capable hands. I release unforgiveness, bitterness and skepticism that fills my heart with dark thoughts and keeps me from engaging in your life-giving Holy Spirit. Thank you for your unmerited favor that provides wisdom and strength to overcome every problem in my life. I want to live a victorious life. I want to live in you! Amen.

Scripture: O LORD, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Psalm 139:1-3 NIV

There is no detail too small for Jesus when it comes to our personal dreams, hopes and desires. Sometimes we think that Jesus is only interested in the big things in life like extinguishing  world hunger, eradicating poverty and responding to natural disasters. But, Jesus is intimately acquainted with all your ways.He is more aware of your struggles and temptations than you are! Jesus never mocks us with our personal needs and desires. He takes you seriously. You are important to Jesus. Know with full assurance in your heart that Jesus Christ knows you perfectly and he accepts and loves you. But, he has no intention of leaving you as you are. There is much Kingdom work to be done and he is interested in equipping you for his work.

As you pray: what Kingdom of God seeds has God planted in your heart? Do you doubt them? Do you think God has forgotten your dream or vision? What does God have in store for you at Wheatland? We serve a good and faithful God, where is he leading you to lead at our church? Pray for our leaders and their developing relationship with Christ. Pray that everyone associated with Wheatland will be surrendered to God’s vision for our church and step out in faith to believe God is doing a new thing in all of us.
