Congregational Care Team

We have a caring and compassionate team dedicated to helping members and friends of Wheatland in times of need or crisis. Once contact* has been made and we've assessed the situation, we'll do everything we can to assist. Meet the team below:

 

Making Contact

The process relies on our connect card, informal reporting networks and direct calls for support. The requests are reviewed by the congregational care team as they come forward. If care is required, a member of the congregational care team (probably a Pastoral Assistant) will be dispatched to make the initial contact, to assess the needs and to provide what is requested. Depending on the result of that assessment, a follow-up call and/or visit can be arranged. If follow up care is needed, our administration will connect with our compassionate ministries to deploy the proper resources from the Care Fund or local entities.
