On Saturday, September 20th we have one of the most exciting events this year for our middle schoolers.
ARRIVE: Students will arrive and check in at 2pm
TEAMS: 2-5pm they will engage in team building events (with their groups) that will help to strengthen their connections with each other. These will challenge them to work together and problem solve. Our goal is to help them start the year off strong and give them a story to share with their friends outside the church.
DINNER: Dinner will be served at 5:30 - 6:30
BUILD: Cardboard box city creation will begin after dinner and students will build their sleeping quarters for the night. We will have a discussion and devotion time challenging the students to consider those who are underprivileged and homeless. We will settle down and quiet hours will begin at 11pm.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast will be served at 6:30 am and the students will connect with their groups during that time.
PICK UP: Pick up is at 7am and there will not be middle school small groups that morning during services. We would like to invite families to worship together that morning and continue the conversation of their students experience.
Things to bring:
Sleeping Bag & Pillow
Change of clothes
Optional: (Snacks and phone)
