Rev. Kim Neace Celebration | December 13 | 11:00 a.m- Noon
As in all families, we must sometimes regretfully say so long to a cherished member who is close to our hearts so they can have the chance to embrace a new opportunity. Hard as this is for us to accept, it is the case with our sister and Deacon, Kim Neace. Her last Sunday with us will be December 27th.
We would like to celebrate her thirteen years of service among us, Covid Style, with a Drive-Thru Celebration on Sunday, December 13, from 11:00 am until noon. The theme for the day will be "On Eagles Wings."
Please follow these directions for the December 13th Drive through: Please ENTER the Naperville Parking lot from the BOOK ROAD ENTRANCE ONLY. Follow the road past the baseball field and drive toward 95th Street. The greeting line will begin by the Door 1 and Door 6 U-drive. Kim will be under the portico greeting you. Please stay in your car and wear a mask. Then please proceed around the church drive eastbound and back to the parking lot by door #4 for socially distanced greeting with friends.
Drivers will proceed through, have a chance to greet her, get a party favor, and drop off any notes or cards (including personal gifts) they desire to. Socially distanced greetings can continue in the parking lot. Please wear a mask and follow CDC guidelines.
Below are six templates for personal notes that can be written to Kim. Individuals or families may download the note paper and then put their feelings in writing. We are inspired, as Kim is, by the soaring, all powerful image of our God as an Eagle who lifts up his children and protects them under his wings....in all circumstances, in all times and all places. Special shout out to Linda Kviz, who made all of these wonderful designs with her own photographs.
