Children’s Ministry

At Wheatland Salem we seek to nurture children as young as infants through 5th grade by providing a loving, safe, and fun environment.  We desire to embrace the physical needs of children and engage their interests.  We are committed to helping families bring their faith home.  When the church and family come together as a team we can influence the world and generations to come.

Sunday Morning KIDS ZONE | 10:00 a.m.

Kids Zone will focus on how to apply Biblical truth to a child's daily life. We are creating an environment that will help children become respectful, confident, compassionate leaders in God's Kingdom. In order for your child to develop lasting memories and understanding of Biblical content, we offer each story and concept in a variety of ways. Our multi-intelligence approach takes advantage of children's thirst for experiential learning. It is a hands-on, servant based, relational, and relevant to childhood. This teaching approach instills life habits that follow the examples taught by Jesus Christ. 

Our classrooms offer child friendly activities that include: Large group and small group experiences in music, science, Bible games, art, and theater. Leaders will have the opportunity to foster the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development in each individual child.
